Repair of old capacitor banks
Reconstruction and repairs of legacy compensating equipment of any type for low-voltage and high-voltage networks based on supplied parameters or on network analysis.
An order – enquiry about reconstruction of a compensating switchboard must include:
a) In addition to common input parameters, the following data:
- Overall compensating performance,
- Compensating performance of the lowest degree,
- Rate of influence of higher harmonic on the network,
- Requirements on control dynamics.
b) The request for network analysis or provision of measured parameters. The measurement is recommended in particular in the following cases:
- Qualified designs of a compensating equipment i.e. the required performance and capacitor type contactor-type or contact-less type),
- Designs of filtrating-compensating equipment for suppression of higher harmonic,
- Network interference by impulse appliances, such as frequency converters, routers, welding machines,
- Failures of compensating equipment, compensation quality check.
Every independent activity such as network analysis, design proposal for compensating equipment can be interconnected and linked together in one with deliveries of compensating equipment of both high and low voltage, or compensating equipment reconstruction, etc.
